The RED MX 800 with its Super 35mm sized 4K CMOS sensor records 4K, 3K, 2K or HD images in a RAW format as .R3D files. The ability to use 35mm PL Mount film lenses allows the use of the finest optics available. A wide dynamic range and the cinematic selective focus that is found with film cameras is accessible with this digital camera.
