Digital Dailies ....we can capture your HDCAM tapes as Apple ProRes 422 files for you to edit on your own MacPro Intel based system. We deliver them to you on your firewire drives. Or if you only have have a dual not a quad Mac G5 so you can't utilize ProRes 422, we can capture both HDCAM and DVCPro HD using the DVCPro codec also on your hard drives. DVD screeners available.

"Rush Dailies" can often be accomplished, drop off tapes by 12N, they can be available that night, or first thing in the morning, extra rush charge may apply

Dailies options:
16:9 widescreeen mode .......your viewing monitor or projector must have a widescreen setting, otherwise the image will be "squeezed" when viewed on a 4:3 standard television
Letterbox .... the entire width of the 16:9 original is shown, but there are black panels horizontally above and below the picture
4:3 crop.....or "center cut", the sides of the 16:9 picture are cut off but the 4:3 frame is filled, we can pan and scan the wide image if needed

Sony SRW-5500 rental - feature comparisons:
Both the 5800 and 5500 are dual link 4:4:4 capable. A fully loaded model 5500 allows recording and playback of both HDCAM SR and standard HDCAM. However the 5500 cannot play 880Mbs tapes or play/record Dual-Stream (3D) recording modes.

This SR deck is uniquely suited for high end digital intermediate workflows.
