SLAMDANCE PANEL - HIGH DEFINITION Fireside Chat
when: Sunday, January 23 at 2:00pm -3:30PM ticket required
where: 608 Screening Room, 608 Main St.

HD is the catchword of the moment for independent filmmakers, but few seem to really know how to make the most of its possibilities. DigiScreen is about to launch a co-operative community of networks of independent cinemas, Digital Film Group is starting the western Canadian independent network. Modern Digital has HD post in Seattle, and Different by Design/HD-Cinema tops the field in integrated HD24p production in Los Angeles.

The Fireside Chats are all held at the 608 Screening and Chat Room at 608 Main from 2:00–3:30 pm. Designed to bring the art, craft and cutting-edge of filmmaking technology straight to the filmmaker, this year our Chats are even more interactive and dynamic, as we’ve mixed them with some extraordinary demos from some of our coolest sponsors.
